I had intended to grill yesterday, but the forecast for today was good and various kid things that were going on ended up making today a better choice, so I fired up the grill for the first time this year and grilled some nice steaks. I sat outside with Ruby the Dog while doing this, which made her very happy.

I mean, seriously, I brought in a new bag of charcoal from the garage and grabbed the lighter and some newspaper for kindling, and she was just bouncing off the walls with excitement.

When we were done, she got one of the bones, which was not nearly as exciting as the grilling for her. :)
