Brisket Day
Dec. 29th, 2023 10:22 pmToday, we made brisket, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner. We are all very full now.
The wine that was one of my guest gifts from Chambanacon was consumed with the brisket and Gretchen reports that it was *very* nice wine.
Other than that, there's been a lot of conversation, a trip to Goodwill (with various side trips that I missed by staying at home for the whole adventure), and a generally good time.
In other news, the garbage and recycling have gone to the curb, including the old bed frame, which we've been told will be picked up tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed.
And as predicted, the garbage bin was *very* heavy as I pushed it to the curb.
