As banged up as they were, I was pleased that they'd made it as far as they did. They probably would not have done much better in the Series, had they made it.

One national reporter pointed out that if this had been a regular season series, at least a third of the Tiger's starting lineup would have been on the DL, not just unavailable for a game or two....
