We had a lovely Thanksgiving Day here. It was relaxed.
I made myself a lovely atraditional Reuben sandwich for lunch. I love a good Reuben, but ordering them in a restaurant involves putting the waiter through an inquisition, as I have to find out whether or not the sauerkraut contains sulfites. That's usually more trouble than it's worth. But we had assembled the ingredients yesterday, so the Reuben was in order today.
Dinner was turkey breast, mashed potatoes, corn pudding, pecan apple cornbread stuffing, and cranberry orange relish, plus some nice nine-grain bread that I found at the store. Julie had made bread earlier in the day, but very little of it was left by dinner time. I can't imagine how that happened. :)
After dinner, we played Exploding Unicorns, which was very silly.
It was a good way to spend the day.
