Via Instapundit, this interesting article about a researcher who may have figured out that, at the core of every cancer, there's a cancerous stem-cell that's the source.
Now, if they could just match the location of the stem cells with the type of hereditary cancer, it would be great. (Cancer runs in my family, but the location of the beginning isn't always the same. I suspect it's related to a specific gene which can cause breast cancer or colon cancer or cancer in some other locations (if memory serves).)
