Tacos Jerez
Aug. 16th, 2023 02:30 pmHaving gotten a recommendation from a friend of ours, we've had a fair number of meals from Pancho's Burritos over recent months, as the food is good, the prices are reasonable, and they have flour tortillas that don't contain sulfites (so far). The problem is that it's a longish drive, as they are around the corner of Golf and Higgins.
Recently, I noticed a new Mexican place in the strip mall on the northwest corner of Golf and Algonquin, Tacos Jerez. They make their own tortillas which appear to be quite safe, the food is good and similarly priced to Pancho's, and a whole lot closer.
Getting into the lot if you're coming from any direction other than west on Golf is a bit of a challenge, but it can be done. So if you're in the area and looking for Mexican food, you might want to give them a try.
